While on her honeymoon in 2011 Erin saw aerial silks for the first time while in Mexico. She was immediately enthralled and researched trainers the moment she got back to LA. Since that time She’s trained at Wildman Athletica under the tutelage of Mark Wildman and Selkie Hom. Her first film in the aerial space was a stylized doc on Mark. Later, she and Selkie began creating aerial art films under their joint venture, the Versatile Assassins Each film takes the viewer through an emotional journey as told by choreography and art design. To date six films have been released.

The inspiration for Once Upon a Dream was a tail of tragic romance. Selkie and Erin started with a simple story: A woman wakes from a stupor, unable to remember the night before. As her memory clears, she starts piecing together the events of the previous evening only to realized that her lover attempted to poison her.
Erin used this story to unify the vision for Once Upon A Dream. While every person who watches it brings their own history to the viewing, the sense of tragedy can be felt by all.
Once Upon a Dream has played a number of festivals including Sidewalk and the Oscar Qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival.

A stylish doc profile on celebrity trainer Mark Wildman — Chris Pine's "Wonder Woman" trainer. Wildman believes a certain level of danger is a healthy thing when it comes to training because it keeps you present and in the moment. He engages his clients with unique circus arts such as aerial silks, along with full-armored combat, clubbells, real machete duels, and tactical fitness.
Included are several of his clients: Troian Bellisario (PRETTY LITTLE LIARS), Christa B. Allen (REVENGE), Chanon Finley (BIRD BOX), Babar Peerzada, and director Erin Brown Thomas.

The Chain was the first collaboration between Erin and Selkie. It was part of a 48 hour film challenge through Dances With Films. The entire concept was conceived, shot, edited, and delivered in a mere two. The experience was so creatively invigorating for both Brown and Hom that they began their partnership and commitment to creating more aerial art films immediately thereafter.
The Chain is a love letter for anyone who has been hurt but wants to open their heart again.
