Erin was selected as an Artist in Residence for the 25th Palm Springs International Shortest. The program, sponsored by Acme House Company Vacation Rentals, chose 11 filmmakers from all over the World to come together and experience the Oscar Qualifying film festival in community with each other where they enjoyed exclusive networking parties, access to programmers, and deepening connections with their housemates.

Erin traveled to Salida, CO with her production company Versatile Assassins to shoot HUMAN, a new film exploring performance culture. In the piece, actress Selkie Hom dangles from a 290 foot crane and stops onlookers in their tracks. The local government shut down a major intersection for the film which showcases Salida’s most iconic monument, S Mountain.

Erin was selected from a nationwide search to participate in a filmmaking residency with choreographer Mike Esperanza. This co-laboratory workshop was hosted by the San Fransisco Dance Film Festival and the National Center for Choreography at Akron University. Their film But First... is currently traveling the festival circuit.
